Meet Employee Spotlight Kevin Lipperman

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I originally majored in computer programming and was self-taught on multiple programming languages

What is your favorite food? Why did you pick this as your favorite?
Matzoh Ball Soup….it’s comfort food my bubbe used to make all the time.

What are two of your favorite hobbies?
Traveling and hiking. I find solace in the outdoors.

If you could choose any animal to be, what would it be and why?
A bird, so I could be in the best weather regardless of the time of year.

What gets you out of bed every morning?
A feeling of determination to always do better for my family, myself, and company.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your younger self?
Take every opportunity that is presented to you, whether it be social or professional.

What is your personal mantra?
Work hard, be honest, and keep your word.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was 7 I met David Cone (World Series Champ), and after I asked him a question, he said I should be the General Manager of the New York Yankees…that stuck for quite a while…

What does your morning routine look like?
Drink a full glass of water, then a full glass of coffee, walk the dog, kiss my daughter goodbye and head off to work!

Do you have any pets? What are their names and what are they like?
I have a dog named Ollie, he is a well-mannered, polite, athletic, and scholarly Goldendoodle.

What kind of activities do you like to do with your friends or family?
In the warmer months, we fish and hike on our days off. During winter, we snowshoe and ski.

If you won the lottery and had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I would put every penny into an array of investments, stocks, crypto, and rental property.

What was your favorite vacation?
The road trip I took directly before my start with Bonney Staffing. We hit 25 states in 14 days and saw how beautiful (and empty) our country is.

If you could have dinner with any person from any time period, who would it be and why?
I would have dinner with Jackie Robinson to see how I can better handle any perceived obstacles or stressors I am facing as he dealt with enormous strife that I couldn’t begin to comprehend, and he did it with a smile on his face and never let it get in the way of his hard work.

If you were to write a memoir, what would the title be?
The Last of the Lippermans

What made you want to work where you’re at now?
During my interview process with Nicole, and Scot I was forthcoming with how I operate fundamentally personally, and professionally. They were in total alignment with my goals and aspirations professionally, and how I operate morally. It’s been a great pairing ever since.

Before working at your current job, what was the most interesting job you had?
Managing a restaurant in Brooklyn, working 15 hour days 6 days a week formed a bond with my employees that I still share to this day, and see them almost every time I visit New York.

What do you look forward to most when you walk into work?
Getting started, and making great things happen for both my associates and clients.

What is your favorite thing about your job?
Making great things happen for both my associates and clients with the objective of making all parties operating realities that much easier.

What’s unique about the culture at your company?
Being one hundred percent entrusted with the direction, and vision I have for my branch.

What advice would you give to someone looking for a job right now?
Show up on time, work hard, and your hard work will speak for itself and reward you in time.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?
Being able to help my clients find the right person for the job will, in turn, form long-lasting relationships.

What led you to a career in staffing?
I took a leap of faith from what I knew and took a job as a CSR at another recruiting firm, I put in the same frenetic effort I do with everything in my life and was quickly promoted to manager, and here I am before you today!

What have you gained from working where you’re at?
I have gained insight into what it’s like to run a business and be able to map out what I think is best for our branch. I am given the freedom to be responsible for my actions, and their outcomes for better or for worse.

What is your proudest moment at your job?
Having wonderful feedback from our clients, saying myself and Jules are the reason they use our recruiting firm when there are plenty to choose from.
