Meet Employee Spotlight: Amber Spiess
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
My favorite subject in school was Math and my least favorite was English.
What is your favorite food? Why did you pick this as your favorite?
I love all food! One of my favorite things to do is to try new foods. My son and I once traveled to Boston just to have a famous milkshake from the Boston Burger Company and it was worth the drive!
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was younger I wanted to work in the Medical Field. As I grew older I realized that was not a realistic line of work for me. I do not have the ability to handle emergencies or injures very well and tend to panic.
Do you have any pets? What are their names and what are they like?
I have an Olde English Bulldogge named Harlie. She is a very lazy girl and spends most of her time buried under blankets snoring.
What kind of activities do you like to do with your friends or family?
Most of my free time is spent with my family, we enjoy taking road trips together, fishing, going out to eat, or having family dinners at home.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is being part of a team that truly believes people matter. I love having the ability to create a positive impact on the lives of our clients, associates, and communities.
What led you to a career in staffing?
I don’t think I necessarily choose staffing, I think staffing choose me. When I started as a Front Desk Coordinator at Bonney Staffing I had minimal knowledge of the staffing industry. The more I learned the more I loved the industry and the impact I was making on people’s lives.
What is your proudest moment at your job?
I have had many proud moments in my current role as Branch Manager at Bonney Staffing. A recent achievement that stands out to me is being recognized in the TallentLaunch Networks President’s Club!
